Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack: The Ultimate Surface for PLA & PETG


The SuperTack stabilizing coating provides superior adhesion for PLA and PETG filaments, ensuring stable model retention even at low heated bed temperatures of 45°C. The plate effectively reduces the likelihood of common printing issues such as adhesion failure and helps minimize the risk of edge warping when printing large models. Furthermore, it maintains excellent grip even when the surface is slightly dirty or scratched, significantly reducing print failures and providing a more reliable experience.

In real-world tests using an A1 printer with PLA Basic, the adhesion decreased by less than 20% even after 300 prints.

【Important Notes】

 

  • TPU Compatibility: This plate is not suitable for printing with TPU. Doing so will cause permanent damage to the coating.
     
  • Model Removal: If a print is difficult to remove due to strong adhesion, increase the bed temperature to the standard filament requirement before attempting removal.
     
  • Temperature Adjustments: While SuperTack operates at low temperatures, you can increase the bed temperature if a specific filament requires even stronger adhesion.
     
  • Maintenance & Cleaning: The plate provides excellent adhesion without the need for glue. Clean stubborn dirt with water and mild detergent. Never use organic solvents, especially acetone, as they will permanently destroy the SuperTack coating.
     
  • PLA Silk+ Warning: Bambu Lab PLA Silk+ exhibits extreme adhesion to this plate, which may damage the model during removal. It is not recommended for use with the SuperTack plate.
